Teachers make huge contributions to our youth every day. They inspire students to learn and challenge them to continuously grow in knowledge. Teachers deserve that same commitment. Through the district’s push to increase effective teaching, teachers will receive the support and development opportunities they need to evolve professionally.
A Clear Definition and Valid Measures of Evaluation
The Teacher Effectiveness Measure (TEM) relies on a diverse set of criteria for evaluating teachers. It was developed by a working group comprised of MCS teachers, principals, administrators, education experts, and stakeholders, and, is unique in its holistic approach to performance management.
