What inspired your decision to teach?

The desire to share the enchanting world of Music and Dance with as many people as possible prompted me to embark on a career in teaching.

What advice can you offer to new teachers starting out?

Be authentic! One cannot fool children. They know when an adult truly cares for them and has their best interest at heart. A child that believes in you will allow you to take them to the highest levels of achievement.

How do you achieve (such amazing!) results in the classroom?

I expect and accept only the very best that each child has to offer. Children will give you precisely what you expect from them.

My favorite books are: The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne; Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen; and The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer-Bradley. My favorite movie is the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
