TEI Ambassador Program

Teachers: Be an Ambassador, Lead the Change

In Memphis, teachers are drivers of reform. Their efforts leading working groups, participating in research studies, and offering their advice on policy changes are a testament to the transformative efforts underway within our schools. As we continue to roll out new innovations in our quest to increase effective teaching throughout the district, our educators can continue to assist with our important work through the Teacher Ambassador Program.

Teacher Ambassadors are catalysts for change in their schools. They encourage teacher engagement and facilitate discussions about new district policies and practices as well as their impact. They are two-way conduits of information and feedback. They increase their colleagues’ engagement, and mobilize them to become more involved in the steps that MCS is taking for the ultimate good of our children.

MCS is looking for passionate teachers to lead positive change. Those interested in becoming Ambassadors should complete the application. For questions, please contact Lachell Boyd, TEI Teacher Liaison, at BoydLM@mcsk12.net mailto:BoydLM@mcsk12.net.
